It's a shotgun; it will have lots of recoil. There are more expensive shotguns like the Benelli Vinci, which has a recoil spring in the stock. Muzzle brakes can help reduce recoil in rifles, but it's not very noticeable in a shotgun. A muzzle brake for a shotgun is more show; not much go. It can help with flash suppression, but I wouldn't waste your money.

A muzzle brakes primary role is to reduce muzzle flip. Which gives the shooter the ability to make faster successive and accurate shots.
So a device on your weapon that greatly reduces recovery time, faster follow up shots. I would hardly call that a waste of of money
