Pump Action Feeding Issues

Hey guys, I have a VERY budget Chinese made 12 gauge that works great except for one thing: It has a tendency to fail to retrieve the new round from the magazine tube upon cycling. The spent shell extracts just fine, and there is no hang up in the action, the new round just doesn't get pulled out of the tube and your follow up shot winds up a click.

Weak spring issue? Or possibly something else?

I have seen many posts (I don't personally know) that the only weak part about the Chinese Remington knock off is the magazine spring.
