Hopefully going shooting soon and want to learn what you guys do to practice trap shooting (other than just the typical "pull and shoot"). I don't know if there really is much more you can do, but thought I'd ask the insightful people of CG if y'all have any suggestions??

Trap shooting practice techniques

Shootingusa has a few good videos showing different techniques. Much easier for you to watch a few 5 minute videos than me trying to type on this phone
. You may have to search their website though, as I don't think it is on their homepage anymore. I'll try to dig them up when I get home if you can't find it.

WTB used AK MFER. -

Practice mounting your shotgun buy bringing the stock to you cheek...and not your cheek to the stock
********** Make sure your firearm is empty....do not have any live ammo on or near you. Use snap cap if you have them *************
Pratice swinging and pulling the trigger and continue the swing after the shot.
For trap pratice ....starting at 6 o'clock
swing to 10 o'clock, 6 to 12, from 6 swing to 2 o'clock
For skeet.... Face the center of the clock....rotate you torso to 9 o'clock and swing to 2 o'clock, do the same from 3 to 10'o'clock.....dry fire in mid swing and continue you swing.Comment
