New 870 or find an old one read.

Ive been looking at getting another 870 after I sold my first one got it back in '04-05 (express magnum).

I wasn't too impressed by the quality of the ones I saw the other night at Turners.

what are your thoughts on finding an old Wingmaster and cutting the barrel down?

I also did toss the ideas around of getting a Police or Marine magnum.

I like the magnum feature so if its a no go on the Wingmaster then that will settle my issue.

Don't cut an old barrel down, trade it on one of the shotgun forums. There used to be quite a bit of that going on over at shotgunworld.
