Used 1187 barrel

I bought a used 1187 barrel off of Gunbroker. This barrel has two ports in the barrel ring that are covered with a circular clip to prevent them from exhausting through the ring along with two gas ports to function the action. The slug barrel that came with my gun has a sold barrel ring with only the two gas ports for the action, no through ports and no circular clip. Is the used barrel going to work on my gun or is it for some other model (like an 1100)? The barrel is not marked with the model type.

I went on line and determined that the 1187 barrel does have the clip on the gas cylinder.
