Can anyone point me towards a good mag extension for a mossberg 5 shot mag tube? I always see them for the 870s, but not the 500s. Thanks

The 500 design uses a fixed length mag tube. They are either 5 shot or 8 shot length. To change length you have to uninstall the tube from the receiver and put a new tube on. If you change out to an 8 shot mag, you'll need a barrel to match.

If you have a 18" barrel 5 shot, you would have to buy a 7 shot magtube and a 20" barrel. or spend MORE money to get the 18" barrel take lug moved forward and a 7 shot magtube cut down to a 6 shot. then you would have something like thisC Co. 509th ABN/PFDR
