12 gauge education

Does anyone know of any good sites with education on 12 gauge ammo? I just bought a Mossberg 930 and am picking it up this weekend. I know a few things like 00 buckshot, and about slugs. But my knowledge of shotguns is nothing compared to my handgun knowledge. Im also looking for tests done with ballistic gels. Im using my shotgun for home defense and maybe for the zombie apocalypse . thanks in advance.

Keep in mind that whatever you find online about ballistic performance is only 1/2 of the equation. With a shotgun, you should still pattern it.
It doesn't matter if "Brand-X Ammo" has better ballistics if it will not pattern out of your gun. A shotgun needs to pattern well with your choice of ammo for it to be effective.
