    21/25 @ Trap w/ 14" BBL and Ghost Rings

I didn't do so bad today using my SBS for the first time on the trap field It has ghost ring sights too. (BTW, thanks to Aippi for reassuring me that my front sight wont fall off because I installed it myself - and it didn't).

Before anyone narcs, I don't live in CA and ATF knows about it.

So......you have a 14" barrel shotgun......and a National firearms tax stamp? That is a class 3 weapon in any state. Who was throwing the clay pigeons? Your wife?

That is good practice and any trigger time is good trigger time.

I was at Ilion Gun Club in April and after a dismal 15 of 50 with a high dollar Remington Trap model I realized that if them pesky little clay disk ever came after me I was finished. Quite an eye opener for a guy who thought he could shoot. I will be ready when I go back to Remington in 2013 and I bet I will bust at least 18 of 50.

If you're going to a gun fight, take a shotgun. If you can't take a shotgun, don't go.

It is a Class 3 and it's properly stamped. I live in a state that does not think that dropping under 18" could turn a regular lenghted shotgun (or rifle) into WMD.

LOL, it was at a trap/skeet field with automatic throwers.

Good thing bad guys are generally bigger than clays Unless you meet some "angry birds."

i imagine the spread of the shot is like 45*, so i believe you.

thanks for the story, and youre a bum for making us jealous of you and your free state goodness....

Awesome. My buddy does about the same with with an HD 18" 870. Gets dirty looks from the old folks until they realize how well he can shoot.

            WTB used AK MFER.
