    Saiga-12 10 shell mags

Is there any way to use a 10-shell magazine in CA on a Saiga-12 without going through the conversion?

I see unconverted ones being sold for $500+fees, which I can afford.
Converted ones seem to be running $800+, which I cannot afford at the moment.

When using > 5 round magazine in the S12, this will trigger 922r as it takes it out of sporting config.

You will need to replace 1 russian-made part with a US-made part. The cheapest compliance part most people choose is the gas puck. Check saiga-12.com for more info/parts.

Don't forget, you still need a mag lock with an unconverted S12.

to use 10 round mags you need to be 922r compliant and you don't have to do the conversion to make it comply, i have a tapco intrafuse forearm pistol grip and the mags count as 3 parts so i have a total of 6 US parts and 8 imported parts, you'll need to be at 10 or less imported parts for it to be comliant. i'll also be swapping out the gas puck so i'll be able to use my imported 5 round mags and stay compliant.
