M2 done by Salient Arms International

Here is my M2 I had Salient Arms do for me.

What they did was flare the bottom (where you load shells)
fabricated the loader so your thumb doesnt get caught on quick loads
had checkered the forarm and grip understock
    cut weight out of bolt
    oversized bolt release with texture
    extended mag tube.

    Paid about 700

waiting on oversized safty button, barrel clamp,

took it out and shot 3 gun did well. Need barrel clamp because keep having to check mag tube.

Please do not post any thing else about your Salient Benelli, or please delete your post. Until I get mine!
LOL! I just shot one this weekend and it is unreal! What a great shotgun. I fingered another shotgun and my Remington knows about it. I am planning to order one this week, if I can figure out how to hide the real cost from the wife. LOL!
She said I could get a new shotgun for Christmas, I'll just tell her it is just a plain M2, and blackout the Salient name on the receiver and pay the difference with my shooting slush fund and sell some other safe queens.
I does kick a little more than my Remington 1100CM, but what a smooth action and light weight. Salient does a great job on the conversion. The owner of the one I shot, got off 10 rounds is under 2 seconds! I did not want to drink the tomato sauce but, I will have red on my lips, it will be sad to say goodbye to my Remington 1100CM, now to be a backup safe queen.

Project; armament, the guy is a 3 gun shooter out of northern Cal. Shoots out of SacValley. He switched from strong hand reloading to weak hand and the Benelli is a lot faster (about 25%) over his Remington 1100. As most shooters will find out, shotgun sucess is more about reloading than shooting. My only concern with the Benelli is will it function reliablity with a 8 round 3 Gun Gear side saddle mounted on it, since I strong hand reload, aka the Cooley Flip.

I ordered mine. Velocity Shooters only has 11 M2 left in stock for the conversion. He will not get anymore M2's until March. 3 Gun Nation web site just had a news release about the Salient Arms and that it is going to be shot at Ft. Benning this weekend for the AMU 3 gun. I know of 3 shooters who all ready own Benelli's and are going to send then to Salient.

www.velocityshooter.com. Tony has the exclusive distribution rights to the Salient Benelli, everyone has to go thru Velocity. For work on a customer supplied Benelli, I think you can have Salient do it directly. Sounds like that is what the OP did.
American Shooters in Las Vegas has one, but $150 more than Velocity. Tony has posts on the vendor section and 3 gun shotgun section on Brian Enos forums.
Some pictures also. He does not want to go into too much detail. The shotgun is a work of art for what it is made for, 3 gun competition, and I've been around guns for over 40 years.
