Hawk 982 question

So I bought a Hawk 982 on saturday, so I'm waiting for CA's 10-day "f*ck you for being a gun owner" period to be over and I have a question regarding mag-tube extensions. I've been reading the other threads (after searching), and can't seem to locate a tube extension that sits flush with the barrel on the 982. I know Remington 870 extensions will fit the 982, but the +1 extension is about an inch shorter than the barrel, and the +2 extensions is like 3 inches longer than the barrel. Anybody know where I can get an extension that sits flush? I tried emailing MAX100 (he said he makes the extensions in another thread), but I guess he's not around anymore. Also, anybody have pictures of a 982 with an 870's +1 or +2 extension on it? Thanks again, sorry for the double post (can't edit on my phone).

See post 172 for the +1 mag extension pic. I would get the same extension if I were you.

MAX100 is definitely no longer around. Many of us sent him money with the promise that our flush fitting mag extensions would ship within "two weeks" and it's been six months! He was honest at one point in time, but now he's an internet fraudster. Stay away!

Thanks for the heads-up! Do you know of any pictures of a 982 with a +2 extension? If it doesn't stick out too far I'd go with that... But if it's way out there I'm just going to go with the +1. Thanks again for the help!

You could install a breaching attachment to make the barrel look longer to balance things out if you decide on the +2 extension. Here's a breacher:
(google for others, there are many)


Or, this place makes custom 870-style extensions and you could just specify the length you want. Then it would match the barrel exactly:
