How do I avoid a lemon if I buy a converted Saiga

I am looking for a Saiga 12 and don't have the skills to do the conversion work myself. It seems everyone has become a gunsmith. When I look at the various how-to videos, I can see plenty of ways for an eager newbie to mess the work up. Is there any way to know that I'm not buying someones botched conversion, if I buy a "preowned" converted Saiga?

You could always go to build party im sure some ak gurus would be happy to help you out with a saiga 12 conversion.
Save some $ and have it exactly how you want it.
