Looking to get a pistol grip for my 870 and leaning towards the Blackhawk Specops adjustable. Watcha guys think? Does it reduce felt recoil?

What you may not find using the search option is the correct way to shoot this stock. It has to shot a certain way to get the benifit of it, to avoid cheek slap and to use it with a bead sight. You can go to www.aiptactical.com and click on the red link "Breaking in the 870" scroll down on that page to "Recoil reducing stocks". Follow that and you benifit by this stock. I can shoot my 870 with SpecOps faster then I can my 11-87P

I absolutely love mine, its on my 1300. The recoil reduction isn't much, but it is noticable.

I've heard from a deputy that apparently it wasn't too hot with his department....

I'll be keeping mine though. In fact I'm looking at getting the solid stock model for a Mossberg I've got.

Are you sure you have the recoil reducing stock? When I shoot bird shot through mine the recoil is almost nothing and slugs feel like birdshot.

Bizcuits- Do you know why they didn't like it? I wish my dept would get them! Ours are falling apart. They do have the 16" barrel's that I am jealous of though ha ha.
