    Snake Tamer

I picked up a snake tamer off the forum. It needs a sling, but no provision was made for one. Googled it but not much came up, so any suggestions? thx.

What type of stock do you have? Wood or synthetic?

I have used screw in swivel screws before, but only on wood stocks. I don't know if there is enough meat in the synthetic stock to hold the threads tight. Maybe adding some epoxy will help anchor it in solid. As for the forearm, I think buying a forearm with a swivel already attached will look better. They also sell synthetic forarms for h&r's with thumb screws for easy break down and attatched swivels.

Thanks, I put that and the butt stock in my cart...now having some second thoughts of just keeping it simple instead. The gun is nice and short the way it is...I like the nickel finish too. Although, it might get a little old carrying it when I go to the river/mountain for a hike by my house.

Try it without the sling. If it works perfect. If not, the items are waiting in your cart. Post pics if you get a chance.
