Saiga 12 conversion specialist in San Diego?

Recommendations for a Saiga 12 conversion professional in San Diego? Must be able to refinish the final product.

PS: I did try to see if this was asked and answered already. I tried the Forum Search function, but it's based on Boolean "OR" logic, not the much more useful "AND" logic -- thus, with the current function, adding more search terms *broadens" the results instead of narrowing them. And there is apparently no override to the default (so "Saiga AND Diego" returns the same hits as "Saiga Diego", which is implicitly "Saiga OR Diego"). Silly design.

Cannot take the bullet button off on a Saiga-12 without it being an assault weapon.

I don't understand the relevance of your answer -- are you saying that an S12 can't be converted and/or refinished in CA because to do so necessarily will require removal of the BB, or are you saying something else? I didn't propose to remove the BB.

you should come to the sd build party , I can show you how to do it all yourself
        and refinish it

you dont always need to remove bb to convert it
I did mine without removing it

Wrong. There are ways to remove the mag lock without treading into AW status. I did it all the time when I worked at PRK. It's impossible to weld the holes, dress the metal, blast, refinish, and bake with a mag lock in the way.

If you remove the gas plug and the "puck" it is no longer a semi-auto. I have a gas plug that installs in place of the original that is made to completely block the gas ports. By installing it, you have just made a single shot with a box magazine. You can also remove the magazine and forward handguard afterwards and slip a piece of sheet metal trimmed to the right size underneath the front trunnion in the reciever. Slide it back and it will completely block the magwell. Now reinstall your front handguard and you have a true single shot that will not accept a magazine at all. You have to manually rack the bolt carrier and drop it the shells one at a time.
