    Rem 870 express?

Hi, what is the difference between the 870 express and the 870 wingmaster? Does the wingmaster cost more just because it's stock and forend are wood? Other than that is there any other differences?

    Thanks

I checked on remington.com. I guess that is the only difference, stock and forend. They said everything else is identical.

I think the Express has a plastic trigger guard and the Wingmaster has an aluminium one. People also say that the Wingmasters have a better finish on the metal parts. And the Express might have a magazine tube that you can't add an extension to without grinding off some metal first.

I was told, the Wingmaster has a more refined finish, internal and external... internal not as nice as the Police... but much better than the Express model...
        oh this...
        It's a Single Cylinder - Single Stroke,
        Internal Combustion Engine,
        with a Free Floating Piston...
