I have an 870 in 16 gauge modified choke, manufactured in 1960 and can't wait for the October 23rd. The problem is locating non toxic shells, sooo, I think it's time to set up for reloading. I have reloaded my 30 06 and 45 ACP but don't have a set up for shot shells. I'm going to walk through the gun show in Ontario next week and hopefully pick up a reloader cheap.
But the larger issue is, where the heck can I find non toxic shot in #2 #4 #5 ? What works best in everyone's opinions?
Keep in mind that Remington advised that my vintage, or anything before 1970 (even earlier) will not handle steal with any choke. Steal cannot be part of the equation here
