Yes it can. Just mind the number of evil features you put on it.

No changes on max capacity (and the 10rd limit that applies to fixed-magazine centerfire, semi-auto rifles does not apply to shotguns as far as aw statutes), but do remember that hunting regulations may limit capacity to 3, 5, or 10 rounds depending on the locale and game being hunted.

        Mine does.
I move slow but I make up for it by shooting poorly.

          Depends on the semi-automatic shotguns...

Like when it comes to my Benelli M4, my head spins everytime when I try to understand about 922(r) and how ATF implements the number of imported parts. To play it safe, I just keep my M4 with original 4+1 capacity...

          Regards,

An instructor informed me that 3 shells is the max your shotgun can HOLD when hunting in CA.

I took this to mean the max capacity doesnt matter -

The amount of shells you have in the gun doesnt matter - (If it holds 5+1 and you only have 3 shells in you are still illegal)

Only that you have the gun limited to only hold 3 shells.

Like a dumbass - I forgot to ask how to do that.

So - How does a dumbass like me do that...?

            Thanx, D

You use a "plug" usually a wood dowel in the magazine so that it won't feed more than 3. My mossberg came with one in it, I took it out because I don't hunt and it rattled around and drove me nuts.

My understanding of 922(r) is that it's not an issue for most gun owners, even with imported guns.
The 922(r) restrictions affect only gun manufacture, not possession. It is an issue for those of us who are building our own AK platform rifles, as well as others from parts kits.

Remember.... the Mosin, Enfield, and others are 100% imported, and they are not illegal, even for hunting (as long as the caliber and magazine capacity restrictions for the game being hunted are met).
