my new Saiga 12 is in Dros jail, so I was looking at stocking up on ammo. who has the best price on slug ammo 4 target practice? I assume wally world for regular bird shot ammo?

Check out sgammo.com they have some good prices on Slug and 00.

Slugs are pricey for plinking. Have you considered bird shot or target loads if you just want to get used to the Saiga?

That being said, my understanding is that the heavier loads are preferred for breaking in the Saigas, i.e. 00 buck or rifled slugs.

I've gotten slugs at WallyWorld before. Quite awhile ago though. Might be worth a look.

walmart has the best prices i have found for slugs unless your buying 500+ shells at a time.
