    Buying Advise Please

I am looking to purchase a shotgun that I can use for shooting all kinds of clays. I don't compete formally or anything - just shoot/compete informally with my friends. I'm looking for a gun that is of good quality that I will be happy with for years to come...not something cheap/cheaply made that I'm going to be wanting to replace 6-12 months down the road. Here are my basic requirements:

    - 12 ga
    - semi-auto
    - light weight
    - well known/respected manufacturer
    - accurate & reliable
    - nice looking
    - something you'd be proud to pass down to your kid/grandkid
    - max budget $1,500 (preferably less)

    Fire away!

I would suggest you seriously consider a Benelli...Vinci, M2 or Montefeltro.
They operate with the proven Inertia recoil system, are not gas guns and are simple to clean and maintain. Their shotguns can last a lifetime and are as or more reliable than any model available.

You can get better pricing online through Gunbroker.com also.

      I would consider a Remington 1100/11-87.
