    Shotgun light mount

Just got cdmgears new BMT shotgun barrel clamp with 3 slot rail. Installed it on my Moss500ATP7. Fit and finish is flawless, comes with instructions, and 2 hex head wrenches. Very easy install.
Top shelf light mount for your HD or Tac shotgun. Check out www.cdmgear.com

nice. very clean install and product.

having already had a picatiny light setup, several actually, I could have gone this route on my Mossberg and swapped a light over. But, since I am not into shotguns that much, and wanted to save $, I just did the cheap ATI 1" mount and a cheap LED flashlight and left the higher dollar mounts (& lights) like this for my AR.

I ordered the mod-c after seeing it at a local shop on the owners personal 870. Top notch quality and mine should be here any day........ I can't wait

Now see there. You are doing like me and talking guys out of buying more stuff. If he mounts the light like you showed he doesn't buy the rail and the rings. Gee, start this stuff and guys will have more money for ammo and they will become proficient with the weapon. And yes I corrected the spelling error. I also took offence to it being pointed out as I went to skool and talk englush as good as the next guy.

I have something similar. I like the weaver mount for flashlights because it's easy to detach a scope ring - I don't care to drag my light to the range or matches.

Noah3683, I am not sure if you already have a 1'' diameter light but if you are looking for one might I suggest LED Streamlight Polytac. Scott turned me on to this light. As a long time Surefire user I was really impressed with this light. It offered more then the Surefire G2 offered at almost half the price. The real selling point for me was the clicky tail cap .vs the twist tail cap found on the G2. Being able to reach up and click the light on and then go back to the forearm quickly is important and is something that unfortunately you can not do with the momentary switch found on the Surefire G2. You are forced to twist the light on. Still pretty quick but in my opinion not as fast as clicking a button. You can find the LED Streamlight Polytac in stock in other places but here is a link to it at midwayusa. http://www.midwayusa.com/viewproduct...tnumber=581349

Also, by next month we will have a slightly redesigned Mod-C that will work with the larger diameter lights like the Surefire G2.
I have a g2 led with pressure switch tailcap, a polytac, and a new maglite tactical. I know the tailcap will fit the polytac as well, but haven't tried it yet. I really like the maglite though. other than it is high gloss black. but it has strobe function as well

Guys, who makes the round light mount that goes around just the magazine tube. It has rails on three sides and clamps around the tube.
Makes a slick outfit, but you'd need a remote switch. Any ideas which one I'm talking about? I saw it here and didn't need one at the time.....now I do.
Any links or direction will be appreciated.

Laserlyte...... You can find it cheaper elsewhere, but that was just a quick reference

I'm a fan of the cdmgear.com MOD-C. It is made for 1" lights, but with an optional spacer, you can use it with E-series (.8") lights... like this TLS/Fivemega E-series light,

I use the MT Clamp on my Remington 870 and it has worked flawlessly. I also used the scope ring mount that CDM sells for my Surefire G2 LED flashlight.

I've put about 400-500 rounds through the 870 shooting clays, fruits and paper targets and the mount is pretty solid with some Blue Loctite applied to the screw.

Here is a picture of my setup:
