    Saiga Shotgun Question

I am normally not a shotgun guy but this one caught my eye.

My Shotgun AW ID Flowchart will not open for me here on this forum.

What would it take for this shotgun to be CA legal?

    Thanks in advance

        Yep-

Needs a mag lock, American-made mag no more than 10 rd capacity, and you either need to have the stock replaced or pin it.

ETA: I just looked at the price! Holy crap that's expensive! I bought mine stock and it was about $500... And there's no way there's $900 worth ofmparts on there...

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, they are out of their minds. 1600 bucks and they didn't even weld the damn holes. B.S.

Even the Saiga's I built were 1200 but every hole was TIG welded.

              (shameless plug time)

jeese, and our gunship model runs about 1500, but would need 75$ additional for CA compliance (a Mag lock)...although the ACE folding mechanism would have to go, as well. I can get new pricing on this one, if any of you guys want this model.

lets see, pictures are when it was almost ready for final assembly, but you get the idea..

options on this were ACE folder with internal block and skeleton(cant have in CA), poly choke perm fixed to OAL 19" barrel, Chaos tril rail, green tru-glo front sight, left side non-removable charging handle, slab side (removal of scope rail and welding up holes), two color digital camo (Tom doesnt like doing digiflage any more), reliability duty servicing, heavy duty welds and other Mil-spec work. Came with fitted ten round promag and a 5 round factory mag, both camo to match gun. You are welcome to speculate why we did that to this particular gun, or why its called the "gunship model" but you wont get a real answer

No junk on this gun that will fail, thats for sure, and it was built to withstand an "aerial crash" as well. No f'n around with this gun, thats for sure.

Of course it included a full standard conversion and such....now I dunno what that price is NOW on this build, but thats what it was last year. I can fetch a price on these if anyone wants one....

Also, remember, that we have a patented LRBHO for the saiga shotgun now here at Cadiz Gun Works, which is 150 installed.....

Great price. Dont forget to add in the cost of receiving FFL fees and tax. I wont say DROS cause you gotta pay that no matter what.
not trying to rain on anyones parade but depending on the FFL they may charge as low as 50-125$ or as high as 300$. That's IF you find a FFL that even wants to receive it in your area. So there are other costs to factor in besides the online price. Some places charge more for a "california" model at additional costs. These are all factors a buyer needs to look at before purchase IMO

$300? ROFL. That is LITERALLY what I'd do if I were quoted that for a transfer fee.

Every FFL I've asked quoted $35 or less. Maybe that's because I've bought from them before- that's what loyalty will get you.
