Does anyone make a rifled barrel w/A2 front sight post for the FN TPS?

Just thinking out loud, but after watching vids on the Box'O'Truth, and noting the increased accuracy using a rifled barrel with both standard 1 oz slugs and sabots, I'd like to have a rifled barrel for my TPS, since it comes standard with M16A2 style peep sights.

Can you take a standard smooth bore barrel and have it rifled, or does it need to be done before heat treating like you would with a regular rifle?

I'm not expecting sub MOA at 300 yards or anything, but would like to see what kind of accuracy I could wring out of such a setup.

Your slug groups may or may not improve but your shot shells patterns will definitly be screwed up.
I move slow but I make up for it by shooting poorly.

When I hit the lotto I'm only shooting factory.

I'd switch barrels if I wanted to shoot slugs, since changing barrels on a pump shotgun takes less than a minute.

Yeah I guess we use our guns for different purpose's. I have to shoot slugs, bird, and buck without changing the barrel.

What kind of accuracy are you getting now?

If that's the case, stick with a smoothbore and shoot Foster or Brenneke type rifled slugs, not sabots.

With a good rest and a halfway decent set of sights you ought to be able to group them into a few inches at 75 - 100 yards.
