Dupleks Slugs

Does anyone know if any Dupleks slugs are banned in CA? I don't see why they would be but the CA government never ceases to amaze.

What are they? I shoot slugs in a smooth bore, usually Walmart, they are grooved to spin. What would make the Dupleks illegal?

D Dupleks is a latvian company that make a pretty mean slug. Google it and check out their products. They would be great in an HD scenario, just dunno if they are legal in CA.

Went to the link (thanks ROCKETW19), they do look pretty "bad"! What a hole that would make. A little pricey.

just checked it out....that was crazy! I'd just be worried that the spinters would damage even more meat, when used for hunting.

D Dupleks ammo is on the CA list of approved lead-free ammo:

I doubt it would be on the approved list if it were banned for some other reason.

It looks like the entire Dupleks product line is on the approved lead-free list.
