    Mossberg 500 buttstocks?

Ok Ive tried using this damn Knoxx recoil reducing stock and I just cant do it. Its fine if you don't have to have a cheek weld but using ghost rings it beats the hell out of me.

That being said who has an alternative and how do you like it? Im considering a Houge or maybe a speedfeed.

Promag collapsible stock with pistol grip. It looks nice and its comfortable to shoot. I've also had ATI and they're good too.

      Here's my baby:

I need a short length of pull so I have Mesa Tactical's LEO adapter w/ Magpul CTR stock & MOE grip. The cheek weld feels just like an M4 so using ghost ring/rifle sights works well.

OEM wood or synthetic are good alternatives. Hogue vs. Speedfeed, I prefer the Speedfeed but that is just a personal preference as both are solid equipment.

I had a ATI non collapsible. it beat the hell out of my face. I went back to the factory butt stock. i recently swapped furniture from synthetic to wood both on the fore grip and the butt stock. Unless you gotta have the tactical look IMO go back to the factory stuff.

I used an ATI 4 position collapsible. Works great, but I like the feel of the OEM stuff better

Have you tried the Knoxx Compstock? All the recoil-reducing features in a normal stock layout. You get your cheek weld and no silly pistol grip or retracting stock.

SpeedFeed 4 bantam stock. Have that on my 590, like the pistolgrip w/the ghost ring sites. You lose the in stock shell tube but the length the shortened stock balances well and cuts down on the OAL.

No I know what LOP is, I meant to ask what the LOP of his speedfeed bantam stock was.

The Speedfeed is typically going to be 13 inches.
