heat shield with Ghost Rings?

how is the advance technology's heat shield with ghost rings? are they any good? should I get one for my mossberg 500?

My buddy got one for his Mossberg 500 - Special Purpose (8+1) 20"...

He liked it so much, he tossed it in the trash can... Then warned me when I got my own Mossberg 500, on pain of barrel scratches, coming loose while shooting slugs, clamps that couldn't be clamped enough, etc... that I should avoid it like the plague. And so far I have.

I just put on a Mossberg factory Heat shield
Fits great and it doesn't give me any problems.

I have read that the ATI heat Shield does have alot of fitment problems

tony, also the sights aren't fit on very well. A good drop or wrong push will knock the front sight right off
