Hello friends, I have a question for you as I know that you know all there is to know about shotguns. I purchased a 870 a few days ago but it is still in the custody of my ffl. (10 days). It has a 28 inch barrel. I have a canvas soft sided bag that will hold a gun of up to 52". What is the overall length of a Remington 870 with a 28" barrel? Will it fit?

My Remington 1100 with 30 inch barrel is about 50 inches overall, so I'd guess you should be okay.
