Perhaps the gun needs a good cleaning? If the action is not opening easily it could be as simple as crud in the slots that the action bars slide in.

The action opens very easily after shooting most times occasionally it sticks and thats a problem shooting doubles. Unloaded it slides great. We will do as we will do because I am me and you are you.Comment

Then I'd say have a look at the chamber and if it looks at all rough, the steel wool method to polish the chamber may well do the trick.

Steel Wool isn't going to much for a rough under size chamber. Steel wool is good for cleaning to finish polish.

I removed the barrel and ran my finger around in the chamber area an it felt smooth, no roughness or ridges. I looked and felt for a shoulder at the end of the chamber but it seems smooth as far as I can reach in.We will do as we will do because I am me and you are you.Comment

The chamber could be under size. It only has to be under size by few thousands to cause a problem with some shells.I removed the barrel and ran my finger around in the chamber area an it felt smooth, no roughness or ridges. yes, it's a shame since every noob I see at the range with a new express is always holding up things when he can't eject the hull. I don't know how many times I've had to explain that a lot of people polish the chamber and even then, may take a few hundred rounds plus a couple of polishings before it will work smoothly.
It's usually about the time I demonstrate ramming the buttstock into the ground while holding the foregrip technique to pop the action open again.
You think they could go ahead and address that issue. I have one, but it's long since broke in and very smooth.Comment

I wouldn't buy anything expensive I would make my own using 400 - 600 grit sand paper. Start with a short dowel or metal rod and increase the diameter of the end with cloth. String will hold the cloth or tape. Wrap the sand paper around that and tape the bottom off to hold it. Just do the chamber not the forcing cone. Chuck it in a drill keep it moving in and out. May have to do it several times before the problem goes away.I have the same problem with the walmart ammo. So If i buy this expensive Flex-Hone Shotgun Chamber Hone 12 Gauge tool you guys are saying it will fix this problem for sure?

I'm thinking it's not necessarily the smoothness of the finish, but the diameter of the chamber. It can have a mirror finish but if it's too small, it's too small. If you go slow I doubt there's much damage you can do there.sigpicComment

I have personally fixed this issue on 4 different 12ga shotguns using my $35 Flex-Hone. 2-Ithaca 37's, an 870, and a mossy 500."Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote." B.Franklin,1759Comment

I did the steel wool polish job on my 870 and it seemed to help. I shot 100 shells on sat and only 3 or 4 gave me a problem. I tried a box of better ammo and all of those were fine.We will do as we will do because I am me and you are you.Comment
