    All it takes is a form downloaded from CA DOJ and 19 bucks. Son to Father transfers do not have to DROS'ed.

        after reading through the thread and seeing that he already had a safe and was already planning on buying a gun in the first place, i applaud your decision. it will probably bring you and your dad closer together, and possibly your siblings as well over time. and i'm sure you'll probably get it back at some point in the (hopefully) distant future.

          or maybe they had different experiences to guide them than you do.

          i meant i would do it, and the one experience was reluctantly, but i would do it again, and it was before the laws changed, mid eighties.
          That may be a CG first!
