I have a 1100 that needs some work, it will fire, eject but will not chamber next round, the carriage stays empty even with shells in tube/magazine. Can someone suggest a smith in the LA valley area.

If it chambers manually (pull the bolt all the way back) does a round pop from the tube onto the carrier ? If it does and the gas system is clean and the seal (oring) is not gouged , missing or broken then you'll need a smith....maybeComment

Sounds like you have some missing parts inside the receiver...the way its designed is when the bolt cocks back it presses on a leaf spring that allows a single shell through… Anyhow… I’m no expert I’ve just taken mines apart enough to know how the action cycles… Check out Dave's Metal Works in Covina, Ca... He works on my 1100's …reasonable prices compared to others I’ve checked out.Comment

JS Air Cushion in Azusa, all they do is work on shotguns. Talk to Joe or Paul
