If you want a semi auto in general Benelli is the way to go.
I move slow but I make up for it by shooting poorly.

When I hit the lotto I'm only shooting factory.

Cant go wrong with a benelli. I have an M2 tactical and I've been very pleased with it.

think SBE2 is 3 1/2" and Supersport is 3". The Supersport is featured in the may issue of Shooting Times. Seems this is the higher end version($1700msrp) geared towards sporting clay. Comes in carbon fiber or grade a walnut.

SBE II has a 3 1/2 chamber, it is somewhat cheaper but it has some design flaw nobody seem to figure out, making it quite unreliable. When compared with the SBE I, the SBE II sucks big time. Don't take my word, go to shotgunworld.com and read what other SBE II owners have to say.
Supersport is very light and high-tech scattergun. So far the first reports are favorable but the problem is, it's on the market for barely two months so there is not enough information coming back from the field to confirm it's a reliable gun on the long run.

If I would be you, I'd stay away from SBE II and wait another couple of months to see how Supersport is performing then get one. Or, if I would really itch to get something, I would go for M2 or Montefeltro, both time-proven excellent, reliable guns.
            Good luck.

Go M4 if you can. You wont regret it. Dont pay over $1300 new. I love mine. There are rumors that you cant get them anymore in Kali. I saw one in Martinez.
Please spay or neuter your liberals.

I got my Super Sport more than a year ago. Shot thousands of rounds through it on the trap field and love it. Never failed me once.

Two months? I've had my Benelli Supersport for two years. Maybe you're thinking of the Sport II?

I've never had any issues with my Supersport.
