I got to pick up my Mossberg 500 on Saturday and I started adding all my goodies for a day of trap shooting on Sunday.
I still have more to put on it, but this was all I wanted on it for it's first trip out. All I really did was add the ATI tactical stock and pistol grip and I put the heat shield on my 18.5" barrel, but that of course doesn't go on for trap shooting...LOL
It was a fun day of trap. And I really liked the feel of the pistol grip. The ATI stock was cool too because my wife is 5'-4" and I'm 6'-1", so we both need different trigger pulls to be comfy.
Also what I liked was that with the 28" vent rib barrel on mine, it seemed to not kick as much as my buddies 500 with a plain 24"... But that could just be me....LOL
Anyways here's some pics....
Here's what it looked like out of the box...

Here's a nice family photo...

I still enjoyed shooting my Stoeger side by side though....
And now my wife wants her own 500....Ha ha
Now I just need to buy a strap wrench to remove the mag tube and put on the Knoxx Sidewinder kit I've got sitting in my office. I sat there for about an hour last night trying everthing else to get it loose....
