    Remington 878 takedown?

OK, so I inherited a Remington 878 quite a while back, and I have yet to figure out how to remove the bolt.

This is the semiautomatic version of the 870 with a two-round mag capacity made in the 1960s. I have only shot it once, about a year and a half ago, and it just doesn't come apart like the 870 my dad has.

Anyone know where I can find a guide for it? I couldn't find one through Remington, but then again, I haven't called them either.

It's the bastard child of an 1100 and a model 58.

I'd call Remington and see if you can order a manual or perhaps have them mail you a copy.

True wealth is time. Time to enjoy life.

Life's journey is not to arrive safely in a well preserved body, but rather to slide in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "holy schit...what a ride"!!
