Mossberg 500A Mag. Tube Spring

Does somebody know where I can purchase a Mossberg factory 5 shot magazine tube spring (and other factory replacement parts)? I looked on the Mossberg site but could not find it.

+1 for Wolff. My original factory mag spring got twisted up inside the mag during a class when I accidentally tried to load 6 rounds into my 5 round tube, which rendered the gun into a single shot. Not confidence inspiring. If you Google search for Mossberg 500 magazine spring the general consensus is they're not so good.

Awesome! Thanks for the replies. Is the Wolff spring a drop-in item? Or will I have to make any modifications to it to fit the 500?

Wolff universal 12Ga spring comes 40" long. Cut it to about 8" longer than the end of the mag tube. Bend the ends so they level with lower coil and you are done.

If you buy the ones that are specifically intended for Mossbergs, they come sized appropriately and you just drop them in.

The Mag springs in the mossberg 500 are junk. I bought a brand new Mossberg 500, and the very first time i ever loaded it up with shells the spring binded up and was ruined instantly..The factory spring is too thin and weak. I did some research and tons of forums poped up with this same issue..

Ordered myself a wolff spring and has been flawless since.
