Importing Shotgun From Canada

The process is two fold. First, you must export the firearm from Canada. Then you must import the firearm to the US. The easiest way, albeit expensive, is to use Questar or some other company that specializes in such projects. Questar has firearm dealer licenses on both sides of the border to facilitate the export/import. I think they charge $225 for the deal. Here is a link...
If you choose to go it alone, contact the Cheif Firearms Officer in the province the gun is currently located. He/she can walk you through the export process.
Importation on the US side is much more complicated. The friendly folks at the ATF should be able to give you some info.
