    Rusty shotgun sluggs

I bought out a bunch of ammo and a gun safe from a guy moving out of state. There is a case of sluggs in the deal with maybe 4% rust on the surface of the brass/steel. Using a razorblade and scotchbrite pad they clean up. I am thinking about sending them off out of my 870 express.

Anyone else use ammo that was rusty but cleaned up? Am I facing ejection problems? They need to be virgin to work?

I've shot some crusty ammo in mossbergs, and never had any problems. just clean it really well afterwards.
