Hydra Shok Slugs

Hey fellow shotgun enthusiasts! I was wondering if anyone had experience with the low recoil hydra shok slugs from Federal for a home defense purpose. I realize there is a thread about slugs vs humans but I had wanted to know about this specific ammunition. Thanks!

Actually shot some of these slugs today at Burro Canyon along with the regular 1 oz. rifle hollow-point Winchester slugs you get at Walmart. The recoil difference was amazing as the low recoil hydra shoks were much more manageable compared to the normal rifled slugs. Due to the fps of the slug being lowered to 1300, I would believe they are less likely to pass through a human than a regular slug at 1600 fps.
