I beg to differ with this analogy! I think it'd be more like "just like you wouldn't use an allen wrench on a torx screw". My SG was doing ok.. didn't hit everything I was aiming at, but I think that's because I suck, and not the gun.
I agree with this. If I get more serious about the sport itself, I can justify buying the equipment for it. For now, I am of the mindset that my priorities are HD. No, I don't plan to defend my home from birds, but it is good practice to shoot at moving targets from different presentations. It's always good to throw in some variety in your training; can't be doing urban combat simulations all the time!
And you, sir- we will deal with you when I get good enough to beat you at a round of clays with my SG!
Seriously, I'd love to hit a true pair with a pump! (and I wouldn't put an eye out when the shells get ejected)
