    Whatsitmadeof?

I just bought a Daly/BC Miroku OU that's a project gun. A few small pieces of wood are broken off of the fore end. The wood appears to be walnut. I know the Japanese imported a lot of wood during the 60's and 70's and am wondering if anyone who is familiar with Miroku can confirm or advise otherwise? Or did they use any hardwood that was available?

I suppose I can take it to the lumberyard with me!!

    Thanks for any info

Thanks! I'm off the the scrap bin at the lumber yard next week.

You gave me some good information earlier when I was looking at the Daly/Miroku line. Thank you for all of the information, then and now. When I'm done with this project I'll post some pics, but it's going to take a while!!
