    cutts compensator??

    Are they legal here in CA on a old Rem. auto shotgun??Thinking about buying one and can get a very good deal on it.

      flash hiders and muzzle breaks (compensators) are not regulated on shotguns.

        As above, perfectly legal and effective. I had a Remington 11 with one on the front end and it really helped with the recoil.

          Thanks I'm getting a Sportsman 48 with a 20 inch barrel for home defense.I'm drilling the dimples so it can hold more then 2 rounds and going to try the 2 inch buckshot to get as many shots as possible.I'm getting it for real cheap and it is a cash and carry so that is even better.
