    Barrel question - 12 gauge

I fully disassembled my Ithaca 37 clone for a thorough cleaning and I noticed that when the barrel attaches to the receiver, it can turn past top center.

What i mean is so when you're turning the barrel into the receiver, instead of the barrel stopping with the sight blade pointing directly up @ 12oclock (90degrees) ... it twists a little further to like 11olock when looking down through the sights

    is this normal / common?

If attaches to the mag tube the same way the M37 does, it doesn't matter, because it will only line up against the mag tube pin in the correct place. Real Ithaca's do this too.
