Recommend a good flashlight for my HD shotgun?

I was thinking about buying one of these :

And clamping a light on for my HD shotgun. Thoughts on going this route? Can someone recommend a fair priced ( cheap ) flashlight that would serve this purpose?

Also I have a Mossberg Maverick which has a 5 shot mag so I'm not sure if a clamp on will fit on the shell tube with the forend right there...

I would not buy a cheap light for my HD weapon. You get what you pay for.

Which ever light you get make sure it's an LED. Xenon bulbs break. I have Surefire fore-ends on my HD guns. But you can make do with simplier systems. I can't remember the vendor that has a rail ring that attachs to your magazine tube, that's a great way to mount a flashlight. Only recommendation is get a system that allows for a remote pressure switch to mounted on the fore-end.

what's your budget? (not including the mount) and are you planning on mounting this with a clamp or with a magazine tube picatinny rail adaptor?

I have a 618LF and I threw in the LED bulb for the P60 right in there. Works well!

I used this in the academy, not fun if you have larger hands (ouch). This is in my opinion, the best option. The surefire grip is sturdy, reliable, and ergonomic. Price is nothing in home defense (that's how I keep convincing my wife).
