    Mossberg 500 price

Hello, I want to sell my mossberg 500 and was wondering if 300 is a fair price? It's about 1 year old and is the 6 shot model. It has the Hogue Tamer Pistol grip with Hogue Tamer forend and I will include 6 boxes of Remington Magnum 00 Buck and one box of Remington reduced recoil 00 buck, Plus a Alley Pistol grip soft case and a Coyote Tan Shotgun Scabbard. Thanks

I think big 5 normally has them on sale with two barrels for $280ish so $300 seems high, should be around 200-230.

But to tell you the truth I don't really know.

just like supersteve said. you can get one brand new all the time with 2 barrels at big5 in the $280-300 range.

used accessories usually bring about half of what they cost if that at all. ammo usually just sweetens up the deal.

So I guess $220 ish maybe

That said, it's a lot easier to go down in price than go up. Can try advertising here and on craiglist for 300, and then go down if there's noboyd biting.

Unfortunate but true. I just got a 500 with 2 barrels and a 10-box of 00Buck shells for $301 (inclusive of tax & DROS) on Friday from Big 5.

I would say as high as maybe 260-270 with all the ammo. Other than that the cost to replace it is too high if you sell it for 220$ so yeah its not worth selling.
WITHOUT all the ammo 220 is a pretty realistic price.

Never sell a gun unless you absolutely have to. Add guns. I know sometime we have to sell one to buy one, but when possible, save up and just add to the armory.

Unless it's something special, hard to get or you got it at huge discount you will not get your money back on a quick turn around gun sale. Hold on to it for a few years and you'll probably get your money back. I had to hold onto a Benelli S-90A1 third generation for 6 years before I could get my money back out of the deal. The buyer got a deal and I got my money back, so everyone was happy.

I bought a used Mossberg for 275$ but only because I got my butt thrown out of Big 5 for no reason while trying to buy one there.

I sold mine for $150 a few months ago. It was brand new looking with only 25 rounds through it and had the 18.5" HD barrel and the 28" hunting barrel.

I filled out the DROS, handed it in and suddenly the guy shreds it, says I filled something out wrong and tells me he can't sell me any guns or ammo ever again. This as you can probably tell is bull**** but rather than argue with him I gave him what he wanted by leaving and not making a fuss. He didn't want my business and I took it elsewhere.

I don't blame you. I wouldn't sell mine for less than $300 even though I bought it brand new for less! It is my baby!

Not sure that's right... In my experience bad service can be found in all levels of retail, crappy store to high end boutiques. Likewise there are good people to be found every where also. So far my experiences ta B5 have all been very pleasant.

I had a big 5 combo and I sold it for 200$ and it was basically brand new also. I got it for 280 out the door and it was the loaner shotgun if someone came and didnt have a shotgun for hunting or skeet they used that one
