If the shotgun is strictly for HD and you don't see any realistic instance of taking aimed shots beyond 25 yards or so with slugs, then a good bead is totally sufficient. If your gun has a light, sights become less of a factor as the gun should be shooting exactly where the light goes. Even in total darkness, if you light the bad guy square up, with the gun hip or shoulder, your sights are going to indexed on him.
