Have a knoxx spec ops stock on my mossberg 500 and it raises me sight picture just barely above perfect. I was thinking of maybe one of those very small red dots but I don't know who makes them or where to get them. Either that or do any of you have some suggestions?

Mossberg 500 red dot?

Well how much do you want to spend & what type of shooting are you doing? Prices range from $100 to $600.
Are you just shooting clays, or is this for a slug gun? A home defense gun might require something different then a sporting shotgun.
Burris Speedbead - $250

Aimpoint T1 or H1 - $550-$650

I had ran into the same issue but found that adding a heat-shield with ghost ring sights brought my sight picture back into alignment...like said above it depends on what you want to do with it!Comment

I recently put a 50 dollar Pentax on my 870...so far so good.Comment

Its a big5 mossberg 500 with the 18.5" barrel and the 28"
I take it to Burro and shoot buck and slugs sometimes, mainly use it for shooting clay with the 28" barrel.
I really like how the burris looks....... but 250 is going to be a little steep. I did just get a new job and am no longer unemployed so I might be able to swing that later on. Any other suggestions?"I *love* the idea of DOJ buyback money being used to buy guns for kids. " - SteadyrockComment
