Hello, I am looking for a wood (or synthetic) forend to fit a 500A. The tube is 6-1/2" long. This is not a pretty gun, has some scratches, etc so I don't want to spend a lot of money or modify it. I just want the forend, not the stock. Mine is wood with the checkered pattern. It is also cracked.
I tried to repair it by gluing but it was really hard to get it clamped in the exact spot. This is gun is not for sport or hunting. It is purely for home defense. I don't care if the replacement forend is wood or synthetic.
Next, it has a rifled barrel and I want a smooth to fire 00. Can anyone suggest a source for the forend or a smooth barrel? Or do you have one?
