    Simplest pump shotgun action design?

Of all the pump shotguns, which would you say has the simplest design?
    Does simplicity necessarily mean reliability?

    i own mossy 500, 590, remmy 870, 11-87, and a winchester shotty.

my favorite shotty is the mossy 590. easy to take apart, easy to clean, never an issue. with that being said, the remmy 870 is a great shotty too. i can never say anything bad about the 870.

Yup, the Winchester Model 12 is one heck of a shotgun.

The M12 is a WONDERFUL shotgun but the 870 is simpler. I expect the M37 Ithaca patent by John Browning is simpler yet. They are all highly reliable systems

Just to add, A grease gun (WW2 45ACP Sub Machine gun) is very simple but not very reliable. The two do not necessarily coincide.
