    tactical sights

so Im building a dedicated slug gun... as far as sights do i would love to use a hk mp5 style rear sight with the 4 spots for elevation but im having a hard time figuring out what to use on the forward sight. does and company make a picitany rail block that would slide over a shot gun barrel or a standard style AR forward sight post? also what kind of sights are you guys running post pics especially of the custom ones thanks

I ran a tri-rail shotgun mount up front and a normal weaver mount plate on the rear. I used my AR flip sights and it mounted right up to it. Funny because during sight-in it was already zero'd at 45 yards. haha.

Not the greatest picture, but you get the idea:

        Tri-rail is found on ebay:

you can find it elsewhere too like Amazon and stuff.

Did that come with the stock, or is it available separately?

I have a Knoxx Spec Ops that is too low, and would love to find a raised comb for it.

That butt cheek rest was home made. I made it out of PVC pipe then painted it.

Wow, that's pretty impressive. Looks like a product from the photo.

It seems that Knoxx now makes an accessory package with two different raised combs that can be attached to their SpecOps stocks.

For the price, I think I'll give them a try and see if one helps me get a better fit. Since I only have bead sights, I don't think I need much adjustment, so I may also just try some thick foam tape or weather stripping as well.

What kind of accuracy are you expecting from this gun?

                What is a tactical sight?

I move slow but I make up for it by shooting poorly.

When I hit the lotto I'm only shooting factory.

Just use the rifle or ghost ring sights. If you want greater accuracy run optics. I use an aimpoint T-1 on my shotgun and have nothing but good things to say about it.
