    Exotic 12 ga. rounds

Just for the heck of it I decided to buy a couple of 3 packs of two different exotic loads. One is the bolero round and another is a heavy duty slug round.

I had seen the bolero round demonstrated at you tube and it was very destructive to a block of ballistic gelatin. I think this may have been posted before but this was an interesting one to watch:

The one's I purchased were 3 rounds for 12.95 each. Obviously not something to go out and shoot just to shoot but I'm thinking the first few rounds in the home defense gun can be alternated.

These were the ones that were Calif legal (note some are not on this page):

NOTE: Interesting last night they had others that were 3 packs.Tonight I am only seeing 9 packs and no bolero rounds.

All of your ammunition needs in one place. Our ammo includes military surplus, Hornady, Winchester as well as many other brands. We offer bulk and cheap priced ammo for your ammunition needs at Ammo To Go.

Those are actually made by a Las Vegas Ammo Company called Hitech Ammo Togo. They advertise in Shotgun News. The "Specialized Shotshell Ammunition" Section has unique stuff including the 3-Pack Bolero Shells you bought from www.ammunitiontogo.com

Here is a link to the source company:

I'm pretty sure those are not legal in CA.

hmmm I gotta look at the code again. Something about shotgun rounds were OK.

                12301. Definitions
                (a) The term "destructive device," as used in this chapter, shall include any of the following weapons:
                (1) Any projectile containing any explosive or incendiary material or any other chemical substance, including, but not limited to, that which is commonly known as tracer or incendiary ammunition, except tracer ammunition manufactured for use in shotguns.
Do you wanna argue what is a tracer and what is incendiary to a jury?? lol
