Is that one of the Norinco Ithaca 37 clones? I want one, but I thought they stopped importing those?

You can still find them at Big 5. When I was at big 5 in Dec, I picked up a cheap H&R 12Ga so I can cut down. It was $110 before tax and dros. I saw the chinese clones on the rack for a little more than $250, I think it was about $280. It's a good deal because of the GRS. Actually now that I think about it, it was advertised in the ads in Dec too.

This is at least $50 dollars more than the Interstate 982/norinco 870 clone. Both have GRS... is there a difference between the two at justifies the 25% price difference? I see that the m37 is an Ithica clone and has a barrel shroud ().

im a sucker for the strange and cheap

Yes this is the Ithaca Norinco reproduction ( exact copy w/ the exception that its metric not US standard )

Action is smooth and ill see what the patterns like tomorrow (rain allowing)

Aside from being chinese built, its all steal machined ( no composite) and from initial appearances, fit and finish - im happy to spend the 250$ on it

edit: no big 5 - i purchased from a small local gunstore. The only thing ill buy from big 5 firearm wise are m24/47s, mosins and unused NIB 22lrs - otherwise no thanks

rofl no thanks on the mossberg.

and im talking 250 OTD not "279.99 on sale + action lock + cadoj + tax"

250$. well spent. My only real complaint is the stock. Im not a fan of the synthetic stocks and will be replacing it with something wood asap.
